Scholarship Program

The CCRSF Scholarship Committee awards scholarships based on aptitude, motivation, and exemplary character. Applicants must satisfy one of the following service pillars:

Service Requirement (Choose One):

Caddies: A minimum of 25 “loops” in the previous/current year.

◦  Example 1: A minimum of 25 loops in the previous year (the year prior to the year in which the scholarship is awarded).

◦  Example 2: A caddy who works 10 loops in the previous year and 15 loops in the current year (the year in which the scholarship is awarded), reaching 25 loops over consecutive years, is also eligible.

Seasonal Employees:

Employees who work during either or both the summer season (aligned with the golf season) and the winter season (aligned with the ski season).

To be eligible, a seasonal employee must work 2 consecutive seasons or 2 out of 3 of the most recent seasons.

◦  Example 1: A Vista employee who works regularly while the restaurant is open during both summer and winter seasons consecutively is eligible.

◦  Example 2: A Golf Operations employee who works two consecutive summers during consecutive golf seasons, but not during the winter season, is eligible.

Full-Time Employees: 365 days of service worked during the previous/current year.

Family Members: Spouse, child, or grandchild of an eligible employee as defined above.

Academic Standing: Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Enrollment: Accredited 2 or 4-year college, vocational, or certificate program OR pre-school, primary, secondary, or high school that is a not-for-profit.
